The tapestry of the American West has many unique characters woven into it. Bad guys like “Black Jack” here. Bold, resourceful, powerful men. I believe Art must also embrace these characteristics…it cannot be casual. Although I realize the need for intensity,I have also come to appreciate that there are both technical and emotional considerations in the creation of worthwhile Art. I have learned the value of discipline, hard work and that “doing it right” takes time. My approach to Art continually evolves. Short cuts, formats and patterns are the bandits of the creative process.
